You are constantly seeking inspiration as a content writer.
The smallest
details will affect both my creativity and productivity, it can be my desk's
arrangement, my cup of coffee, or tea (I literally change cups every week...
still looking for the perfect cup! ). Most of the time, too, it's the way I
arrange my blogs!
My loyalty to Notion comes before anything else, and I believe that it is
one of the most convenient tools for bloggers.
I have developed this template after seeing tens of other creative ones,
and I tried my amplest to make it suitable for both writers with and without
any SEO knowledge (which you should get).

Toolkit (FREE Tools)
This template comes with a mini toolkit for:
- Writing
- Keywords
- Pictures
- SEO
- Technical SEO
- Networking
- Advertising
Here are a few tools that I chose to include:
1. Ask The Public
Before writing anything for search engines, you should think about what
people are actively seeking.
I found this tool to be the most efficient: AnswerThePublic
2. Google Trends
Trending topics, trends predictions, and finding related queries can be
used to optimize local and video SEO. For instance, you can use this
tool to track search volume over time to identify peak seasons within
your industry.
3. CoSchedule's Headline Analyzer
The headline will determine whether or not a visitor clicks through to
your page!
With CoSchedule's Headline Analyzer, you can generate attractive
headlines that get clicks!
4. Infinite Suggest
Additionally, you should incorporate a spreadsheet into your SEO strategy to do keyword research as it will save you time and effort.
5. More Tools
The toolkit that comes with this template contains the following
tools:
- Wordstream
- Soolve
- SEORCH
- Grammarly
- Hemingway editor
- SEOmofo
- Plagiarism Detector
- Wordcounter
-
Pinterest & Quora
- Blog Lovin'
- Mobile-Friendly Test
- GTMetrix
- Fix Broken Links
6. Personalize Your Toolkit
This toolkit is by no means complete, as each blogger may prefer certain
tools over others. Try out different combinations of tools until you find what works for you.
Blogs Calendar
When you're ready to write a new blog, you'll go to your blog calendar. Here's my personal blog preparation process.
1. Brainstorming Blog Ideas
Content writers are creative!
The problem is that it is common for you
not to write down all of your ideas.
If you write down every single idea
you have, you'll see a big difference!
Here's how you do it:
1.
2. For the sake of this blog, let's prepare a blog about brand
managers. Of course, you won't have a title in mind right ahead
(usually), so we're just writing the idea of a "brand manager"
3. In case you work with a team of bloggers: you can choose
to whom to assign this blog.
4. Select a blog category
Note: You can and shall change the categories to be in the
same niche for better SEO results.
5.With the post type selected, you can create templates for blogs, youtube videos, and social media posts.

|
2. In Progress
When you've decided that your post idea fits your website, you can move it from the "Ideas" column to the "In Progress" column.
Here is the blog template you'll see:
After polishing your keyword research, you can put the main
keywords you're focusing on.
The meta description (tag) is an important part of your writing,
which is why I gave it a personalized section. A meta description is
crucial for SEO, so I never ignore it.
The notion is not a word processor, that's why I have never used it
as one. I personally write my posts using Google Docs or Grammarly,
then paste them in the draft section.
3. In Review
Once the drafting is done, I immediately move the card to the "In
Review" column.
Then, I would add the blog's picture using the media feature:
Later on, I will be editing the blog and making several
changes.
4. Published
Once a blog a published, I move to the last column, and fill in the
details:
Blog Calendar View
Other than the Status view, you can choose two others.
You might choose the "Published" view and only see published
content.

Or see your blogging progress using the "Calendar view":
